A handy little block plane for the shop or construction site. This vintage Stanley 220 will do all you ask of it. No chips, cracks or breaks. As seems customary with these planes the wooden knob has disappeared. Good sharp iron that produces whisper thin shavings.

This is Wodens version of Stanleys 130 double end block plane.It has some problems, the front knob is broken in half and it has been dropped and repaired. The repair is strong and true and the plane works well but is not pleasing to look at.

Anyone interested in collecting early Stanley planes will enjoy this. A great example of the Stanley Rule and Level Co. No.22 transitional smoother. This is a first lateral model with the highly sought after Eagle logo. The wood is in good++ condition with one minor scratch. Original blade and lever cap are excellant. Jappaning on body is about 60%.
